Role Description

The DTP Artist is a full-time, on-site role based in Taman Industri Alam Jaya, Puncak Alam.

The DTP Artist will be responsible for preparing and finalizing artwork for corrugated carton packaging, ensuring that artwork and files meet customer, printing, and production requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing carton artwork, layouts, and die-line designs, making artwork adjustments based on customer or production requirements, and checking artwork before release to production.

The DTP Artist will work closely with the Production, QA, Sales, and other relevant teams to ensure printing accuracy and smooth production processes. The role will also support new product development (NPD), sample preparation, and sample approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare carton artwork, layouts, and die-line designs according to customer requirements.
• Adjust and finalize artwork for printing and production.
• Check artwork, dimensions, text, graphics, and other details for accuracy before production.
• Coordinate with Production and QA teams to ensure printing accuracy and production requirements are met.
• Make artwork amendments based on customer feedback and production requirements.
• Support new product development (NPD), sample preparation, and sample approval.
• Prepare and maintain organized artwork files and related design materials.
• Ensure artwork is properly prepared and released according to production specifications.

Job Requirements

• Must have knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of artwork layout and preparing print-ready files.
• Knowledge or experience in the printing industry is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail when handling artwork and technical specifications.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• A quick learner with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Candidates with relevant qualifications or experience in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Printing Technology, or a related field are welcome to apply.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturday: Alternate Saturday, Half Day

Sunday: OFF

Upcoming Relocation: The company will be relocating soon to Kota Puteri, Ijok, Selangor.

Candidates should be comfortable working at the current location and relocating to the new location when the relocation takes place.
