As a key player in Malaysia’s iron ore and mineral resources sector, we’re seeking a HR Specialist to drive recruitment excellence, strengthen employer branding, and ensure we attract and retain the best talent across our mining and corporate teams.

Your Mission

Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus – 50%)

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft compelling job ads, and manage structured selection processes.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles, ensuring readiness for expansion and succession planning.
  • Champion employer branding initiatives, including career fairs, digital campaigns, and onboarding experiences that reflect our safety-first, performance-driven culture.
  • Develop recruitment metrics and contribute to HR analytics for workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Liaise with external agencies, universities, and industry bodies to strengthen talent networks and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Learning & Development (Secondary Focus – 50%)

  • Support onboarding programs that embed OUS Group’s values and operational readiness.
  • Assist in designing targeted learning interventions for skill gaps identified during recruitment and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with HSE, operations, and corporate teams to align training with compliance and productivity needs.
