Job Summary
Join our team as a Cook to support kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and quality in a fast-paced environment focused on traditional desserts.
Responsibilities
Portion food accurately and store in designated containers to maintain freshness
Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations to uphold hygiene standards
Manage inventory by restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes and sweeping/mopping floors regularly
Proactively identify and undertake additional tasks to support kitchen efficiency
Collaborate with team members by sharing ideas and providing support to achieve common goals
Follow directions from the head chef and senior kitchen staff to meet kitchen requirements
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support kitchen operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Possess a food handler certificate (preferred but not required)
Willingness to learn and adapt through provided training, including candidates with no prior experience
