About the Role

Our manufacturing client is implementing Critical Manufacturing (CM) MES in Kulim, and we are looking for experienced SAP and Non-SAP ERP manufacturing consultants who have strong knowledge of production, quality, maintenance, materials, or shop-floor operations and are ready to take the next step into MES implementation and digital manufacturing.

If you have experience with SAP MES, SAP MII/ME, SAP PP, SAP QM or SAP PM, this could be an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise into Critical Manufacturing MES.

Direct Critical Manufacturing experience is preferred but NOT mandatory. Structured CM MES training will be provided to suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document manufacturing and shop-floor requirements.
• Analyze production, quality, maintenance, material-flow and equipment processes.
• Support Critical Manufacturing MES configuration and implementation.
• Assist with integration between SAP, MES and other manufacturing systems.
• Prepare process flows, functional specifications, user stories, data mappings and test scripts.
• Perform system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Record, track and retest system defects.
• Support master-data validation, user training, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, IT, SAP and MES teams.

Required SAP Background

Candidates should have hands-on experience in at least one of the following:

• SAP MES
• SAP MII / SAP ME
• SAP PP
• SAP QM
• SAP PM

Important: Please do not hesitate to apply if you do not have direct Critical Manufacturing MES experience. Training will be provided.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 4–7 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
• Practical hands-on experience in at least one of the required SAP areas.
• Good understanding of manufacturing or plant operations.
• Experience in an SAP, MES, ERP or manufacturing digitalization project.
• Ability to translate manufacturing requirements into system processes.
• Experience preparing functional documentation and/or test scenarios.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to complete Critical Manufacturing MES training.
• Willingness to work primarily onsite in Kulim, Kedah.
• Availability to support go-live or critical deployment activities when required.

• Shop-floor execution
• APIs, SQL, middleware, databases or manufacturing-system integration
• Critical Manufacturing or other enterprise MES platforms
