JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Able to operate CNC Lathe Machine.

2. Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines.

3. Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.

4. Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

5. Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.

6. CNC programming and manual programming is a must.

7. Past experience with either or both MITSUBISHI and Fanuc control is a must.

8. Candidates will be required to work within very close tolerances and be able to work in a production setting to meet on going production quotas.

9. Read blueprint drawings, job orders, tooling instructions, or standard charts to determine specification procedures.

10. Position and secure tools and tool holders to tool heads.

11. Monitor tool wear, change tools and inserts as required.

12. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, and stand for long period of time.

13. Must be able to contribute to continuous improvement techniques to improve output, quality, cost and delivery.

14. Perform other duties stipulated as per ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015 requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Fully skilled time served engineer/tool maker with 2 to 3 years of CNC Lathe experience is an advantage
• CNC setter/operator with experience in CAD / CAM programming is an advantage
• Used to working to fine tolerances with all materials
• Able to interpret engineering drawings
• Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
• Have a good discipline, attendance and attitude.
• Fresh graduate with SKM cert, Diploma and Degree in relevant education background is welcome to apply. Training will be provided.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
