Position : Presales IT Specialist

Salary : Up to RM8500

Location : Kepong, KL

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking a Presales IT Specialist to support the sales team in designing and presenting tailored IT solutions that address client business and technical needs. This role combines technical expertise and consultative skills to help position solutions effectively and drive successful deal closures.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand business requirements and technical challenges
• Design and propose suitable IT solutions, architectures, and implementation approaches
• Prepare technical proposals, solution scopes, and cost estimations
• Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions
• Support sales teams in client meetings and technical discussions
• Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents with accurate technical input
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility
• Assist in solution planning, pricing input, and risk assessment
• Manage multiple presales opportunities and prioritize tasks effectively
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or IT technical roles
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, or cybersecurity solutions
• Experience in preparing technical proposals and solution design documentation
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is an advantage
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Able to multitask, manage priorities, and work effectively under pressure

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM8,500.00 per month
