Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver structure retail sales training and coaching programmes to address identified performance and service gaps.
Conduct group training, individual coaching, role-play exercises and refresher sessions on consultative selling, objection handling, upselling, customer experience and professional conduct.
Observe frontline retail employees during live customer interactions and provide timely, constructive and behaviour-based coaching and feedback.
Assess individual and team performance, identify development areas and recommend people appropriate training or coaching interventions.
Monitor employee progress following coaching interventions and establish appropriate improvement goals for employees requiring further development.
Analyse performance indicators, customer feedback, mystery shopper findings and other relevant data to identify trends and determine coaching priorities.
Monitor and reinforce established customer service, sales, grooming, workplace conduct and operational standards on the retail floor.
Maintaining accurate coaching records, employee scorecards and other relevant performance documentation.
Present performance findings, progress updates and coaching recommendations to relevant management and stakeholders.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure training and coaching activities support operational and business requirements.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum GCE O Level qualification or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of hands-on retail sales experience, preferably within consumer electronics, IT products, home appliances or other related product-led retail environments
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales coaching, retail training, performance improvement or a similar capacity, preferably involving frontline retail employees
Strong facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach employees of varying experience levels, backgrounds and learning needs
Working knowledge of consumer electronics, IT products, home appliances, audio equipment, smart home devises or related product categories would be advantageous
Proficient in relevant computer applications (Microsoft Applications)
Able to fluently speak more than one language
Able to work both independently and collaboratively with others
Must be willing and able to work on weekends and/or outside standard office hours based on operational and training requirements
Other Information:
1 year contract, renewable
Monthly salary range of $4,000 to $4,500
Working 44-hours per week spanning from Mondays to Sundays, on a monthly roster basis (to be discussed further during the interview)
