In response to strategic business needs and expansion, EDPS Executive is an additional executive arm of EDPS (EA License No. 78592). Founded in 1974, EDPS stands as the premier provider of IT contract staffing solutions in Hong Kong, boasting a long-standing history and esteemed reputation. We are privileged to have been chosen by the Government of HKSAR as one of the largest and most enduring suppliers of IT contract staffing services for nearly 50 years.
Reporting to the Team Head, the incumbent will oversee quality management activities within a large-scale technology platform project. This role is responsible for ensuring robust quality governance, effective vendor oversight, and continuous improvement of project processes and deliverables.
Here's the JD:
work together with development team in the development, maintenance and enhancement work of existing systems
communicate with business users on requirement gathering and perform business needs analysis
work with UI designer to develop frontend web application
develop microservice container to call backend functions and data.
produce and maintain system documentation; and
perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or his delegates.
Qualification
A recognized degree or an equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
At least three years of system development experience or being a crucial role in software development team if less than three years
Business knowledge on Finance and/or Human Resource domain areas are highly preferable.
Solid experience in development and implementing applications using Java J2EE, ReactJS, Redux, Node.js, Express.js, RESTful, Git, JavaScript, jQuery;
Solid experience in Oracle PL/SQL or MySQL.
Hands-on experience in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Suite (BI) development
Good concept and hands-on experience in system development and life cycle, including coding, testing, debugging programs and associated documentation.
Knowledge of / experience in using AI for system development being an added advantage.

DB: Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL
