Business Development Executive (IT Solutions)

Location: Oasis Ara Damansara, Selangor
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Fully On-site

Our client is a growing IT solutions provider helping businesses accelerate their digital transformation. Their services include custom software development, web and mobile applications, e-commerce platforms, system integration, API development, and IT support.

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive who enjoys building relationships, identifying business opportunities, and connecting clients with the right technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for IT and digital solutions.
• Generate leads through networking, outreach, referrals, and other business development activities.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial engagement to proposal presentation and closing.
• Understand clients' business challenges and work with internal technical teams to recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, presentations, and solution recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Follow up on leads, opportunities, and ongoing client requirements.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
• Represent the company at client meetings, networking sessions, and business events.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Preferably 2–3 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, or IT/Software Solutions Sales.
• Candidates with strong sales experience and an interest in technology are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Able to understand client requirements and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Interest or exposure to software development, digital solutions, system integration, or IT services will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, or system integration is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve sales targets.
• Must possess own transport and be willing to travel for client meetings when required.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: RM3,000 – RM3,500
• Commission: 3% on personal sales
