Job Summary
You will assist customers, manage payment and transaction records, and support operations to ensure smooth on weekend scrap yard activities.
Responsibilities
Assist new customers at counters by providing clear information about services and answering inquiries
Answer reception phone calls promptly and professionally
Reconcile operations weighing details with weighbridge records to ensure accuracy
Retrieve or create customer profiles in the system to generate payment vouchers
Verify payment details for accuracy and initiate or confirm authentication approvals
Address customer issues and relay feedback to management for service improvements
Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all transactions
Regularly update customer and transaction data to ensure reliability and completeness
Communicate clearly and effectively with operations team, drivers, and management to support smooth workflow
Provide general administrative support for office consumables
Support administrative tasks related to operations and fleet management
Required competencies and certifications
Ability to work on Saturdays and Sundays (weekend work compulsory)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Proficiency in basic computer applications
