We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial & Costing Executive to join our team. This role is presently located at our Seksyen 32, Shah Alam facility. Upon completion and operational launch of our new factory, the work location will transition to Sijangkang, Selangor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Prepare accurate product costing and price calculations based on engineering drawings, BOMs, materials, labour, machining processes, and subcontracting costs.

· Able to interpret Bill of Material (BOM) with basic technical drawings reading capability.

· Generate customer quotations, cost breakdowns, and commercial proposals within the required timeline.

· Source material and process pricing from suppliers to support quotation preparation.

· Perform parts costing analysis and submit quotations to customers.

· Select supplier meet cost requirement to quote to customer and for purchasing buying.

· Check engineering change notification (ECN) impact to quoted price and submit revised quotations to customers.

· Maintain and preserve “Material database” to ensure accuracy, up-to-date information is maintained in “Material database”.

· Review customer RFQs, specifications, and technical requirements before quotation submission.

· Analyse manufacturing costs and recommend opportunities for cost optimization and improved profitability.

· Prepare commercial reports, costing analysis, and management summaries when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in costing, commercial, quotation, estimation, project coordination, or manufacturing operations.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes.
• Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple quotations and deadlines.
