Job Description & Requirements:
The Senior/ Assistant Finance Manager manages a broad spectrum of finance and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance:
- Oversee daily finance operations, including grants, payments, donations and invoicing.
- Maintain a complete set of accounts.
- Prepare timely financial reports, including financial analysis, cost analysis, and variance reports for the monthly Management Committee meetings.
- Manage petty cash, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Update Fixed Deposit (FD) schedules and verify interest rates before maturity dates.
- Coordinate statutory and program audits, as well as the annual budget preparation.
- Review internal controls and processes, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and timely reporting, including adherence to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, Charities Accounting Standard, Code of Governance, Charities Act, and internal control policies, maintaining high integrity.
Administration:
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
- Manage inventory, office equipment, and assets.
- Assist with the daily operations of the office.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Senior Management.

The following are the programmes / services provided by the GEHA
1.
Blk 97, Geylang East Home for the Aged (Sheltered Home):
A residential home to the needy old folks
To-date, we have a total of 37 home residents, consisting of 22 males and 15 females.
2.
Blk 96, Geylang East Senior Care Centre (SCC):
A place which provides integrated day care facilities in one convenient location.
(1) Maintenance Day Care provides day care (social activities and meals) for seniors while their
caregivers are at work
(2) Rehabilitation Day Services for residents who require rehabilitation services to improve muscle
strength, balance, endurance and fine motor skills.
(3) Dementia Day Care provides structured group and individual activities for person diagnosed
with mild and moderate dementia

The Centre will serve as a go-to point for all seniors in the community and provide an “ABC”
