Job Summary

Support procurement operations by managing requisitions, quotations, orders, and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery for ship management activities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate procurement activities by processing requisitions, obtaining quotations, placing orders, and maintaining accurate procurement records
Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs and build strong supplier relationships to support operational requirements
Communicate with vessels, manufacturers, freight forwarders, and agents to ensure timely and economical delivery of supplies
Assist Superintendents in monitoring and managing procurement budgets to support financial control
Perform additional procurement-related tasks as assigned to support team objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or related certificates in Procurement or Supply Chain
1-2 years of global marine related procurement experience in supply management
Experience in procurement within a ship management company is advantageous
Ability to work independently and manage pressure effectively
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels
