Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage logistics, transportation, warehouse, and customer service operations.
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of logistics personnel.
- Oversee inventory control, order processing, and distribution operations.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals.
- Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage budgets, reports, and logistics KPIs.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to track SKU-level data, ensuring real-time visibility for the sales team regarding "In-Stock" availability.
- Work closely with the Sales team and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Manage repair and maintenance for warehouse and overall building facility.
- Schedule delivery and pick-up of goods. Ensure trucks are loaded effectively to balance weight (beverages are heavy!) and protect fragile cargo during transit.
- Implement cycle count reports on monthly basis, strictly enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols to minimize “dumping” or stock write-offs due to expired beverages
- Organize warehouse in proper and efficient manner and annual stock-take.
- Always Liaise and support management on specific programs and targets.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
- Degree/Diploma in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain and Custom declarant certificate will be a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing logistics operations.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Possess excellent leadership and motivational skills, team player and ensure cost-effective and high-performance logistics processes.
- Work as a team to assist in hands-on picking and packing of goods when necessary.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends, if necessary.
