Job Description --- CNC Machinist / Setter

OBJECTIVES (GOALS)

Your main responsibility must be able to perform each essential duty in an exemplary manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. DUTIES

· Operate and set up CNC machines to produce precision parts.

· Retrieve job related information (job routings, part drawing, tool list, work-instruction, in-process inspection sheet, etc.)

· Complete change-over activities (Machine preparation from previous job set-up to new job set-up)

· Complete manufacturing of first part per process instruction

· Document manufactured quantities utilizing ERP system

· Inspect and document parts according to in-process inspection sheet requirements

· Troubleshoot parts when issues occur

· Work with the Engineering department to improve machining processes

· Train Operators as needed on job related items

· Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures

REQUIREMENT

· High School or SPM / NTC-2/3 /Vocational or technically trained

· 3-5 years experience setting up and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines

· Ability to read technical drawings and understanding of GD&T

· Experience with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls preferred

· Experience using measuring tools and gages

· Experience with Master-CAM Programming and high speed machines preferred.

· Systematic and meticulous in approach

· Acts as a team player in a small dynamic team

REPORTING

This position reports directly to CNC section Leader / Production Manager.

要求（REQUIREMENT）

高中或 SPM / NTC-2/3 / 职业或技术学校毕业。

具有 3-5 年设置和操作 CNC 铣床和/或车床的经验。

能够阅读技术图纸并了解 GD&T（几何尺寸与公差）。

有 Fanuc（发那科）和/或 Heidenhain（海德汉）控制系统操作经验者优先。

具有使用测量工具和量具的经验。
