Clinic Assistant – Immediate Hiring

Location: Klinik CJ, Jelutong, Penang
Immediate Hiring – Candidates who can start ASAP will be given preference.

Klinik CJ is looking for 1 Clinic Assistant to join our team as soon as possible.

We welcome SPM/STPM leavers, Diploma holders, fresh graduates, medical/healthcare students or graduates, as well as candidates who are currently waiting to start university, further studies, housemanship or their next placement.

Candidates who are available to work for a few months are also welcome to apply. Previous clinic experience is an advantage but not required. Training will be provided.

Working Hours

• Clinic operating hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Saturday: Closed
• No night shifts
• Duty hours and rest days will be arranged according to the staff roster
• We will try to arrange up to 2 off days per week where staffing permits

Job Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately using the clinic management system
• Welcome patients and provide friendly and professional customer service
• Handle phone calls and WhatsApp enquiries
• Assist doctors during consultations and clinical procedures
• Assist with vaccinations, health screenings, ECG, nebulisation, wound care and other procedures
• Prepare and dispense medications under the doctor's supervision
• Prepare consultation and treatment rooms
• Handle billing, payments and receipts
• Submit and follow up medical panel claims
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Monitor medication and consumable stock
• Assist with stock ordering and inventory management
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the clinic
• Assist with administrative duties and daily clinic operations
• Assist with simple social media or health education content when required
• Perform other reasonable duties related to clinic operations

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification
• Diploma holders and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Medical, nursing, pharmacy, biomedical and other healthcare students/graduates are welcome
• Previous clinic/pharmacy/healthcare experience is an advantage but not compulsory
• Able to start work as soon as possible is preferred
• Comfortable using computers, WhatsApp Web and computer applications
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Mandarin is an added advantage
• Responsible, punctual and reliable
• Friendly and professional when dealing with patients
• Organised and attentive to detail
• Willing to learn and accept training
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
