Role: API Test Automation Lead

Location: Singapore

Experience: 10+ Years

Must Have

Experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.

Strong API testing and automation experience using Rest Assured, Postman/Newman, Karate Framework, and ReadyAPI/SoapUI.

Hands-on experience testing REST APIs, SOAP services, microservices architecture, and event-driven integrations.

Strong programming skills in Java, with Python preferred.

Experience designing and implementing reusable API automation frameworks.

Expertise in CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.

Strong SQL knowledge and backend data validation experience.

Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models, test planning, test strategy, test execution, defect management, and release sign-off.

Experience with API mocking, service virtualization, and test data management.

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, shift-left testing, and quality engineering practices.

Experience managing and mentoring automation teams.
