SSRV Group Hiring! Full Time Mechanical Engineer in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical building services and equipment, including HVAC, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, ventilation systems, plumbing and other mechanical systems.
• Plan, monitor and ensure the effective implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment and identify potential defects, risks and areas requiring improvement.
• Monitor equipment performance, reliability and energy efficiency and recommend optimisation measures where appropriate.
• Ensure all mechanical maintenance works are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, manufacturers' recommendations and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, contractors and specialist service providers to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair works.
• Review contractors' technical proposals, method statements, service reports and quotations where required.
• Assist in managing mechanical maintenance costs and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and energy savings.
• Ensure mechanical systems comply with applicable statutory, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper records of equipment, maintenance activities, inspections, testing, breakdowns and statutory documentation.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, maintenance reports, asset condition assessments and management reports.
• Participate in the investigation and root cause analysis of major or recurring mechanical failures.
• Support testing, commissioning, upgrading and replacement of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders on mechanical engineering and facilities-related matters.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Preferably 3–6 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building services, M&E operations, property management or a similar environment.
• Experience in HVAC, chiller systems, pumps, ventilation, plumbing and other mechanical building services.
• Experience in managing contractors and maintenance service providers.
• Experience in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, hospitals, data centres or other complex facilities will be an advantage.
