Key Responsibilities
Checking Case Merits & Statements:
Assist client with recording accident details and assess liability.
Collecting Case Evidence:
Gather important accident information like accident photos or videos, police reports, and medical records to help build the case.
Court Filings:
Prepare, format, and submit legal documents like pleadings and affidavits, adhering to strict court deadlines.
Case & Calendar Management:
Organize electronic case files, track chronological developments, and manage case schedules and hearing dates.
Trial Preparation:
Assist in assembling trial bundles, hearing folders, and organizing documents for client meetings and hearings.
Communication:
Assist in setting up meetings between clients and lawyer / manager in charge. Take notes during and follow up after meetings.
General Administration:
Handle document scanning, expense claims, conflict checks, and routine office correspondence.
Requirements and Skills
Qualifications:
No minimum education requirement.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with civil court procedures, NIMA & PIMA, and e-Litigation filing. Minimum 2 years of prior experience handling relevant motor accident claims (Claimant)
Salary
$2,500 - $3,500
plus monthly closure incentives / bonus after probation
(Salary beyond 3,500 may be offered based on highly relevant experience & capacity)
