Job Description

Responsibilities

Yantron is developing digital solutions for hospitals,campuses and the built environment, connecting consultancy, project deliveryand smart operations.

We are looking for a hands-on engineer who understands howbuilding systems operate and can help connect them to digital platforms. Youwill work with local consultants, system vendors, facilities teams, and BIM andsoftware colleagues to deliver reliable integrations, commissioning evidenceand usable asset information.

Responsibilities

  • Review M&E schematics, equipment information, control sequences and points lists; clarify interfaces, scope and acceptance requirements.
  • Configure or support BMS, building automation and approved IoT integrations; validate signals, units, alarms, trends, timestamps and access permissions.
  • Conduct or support approved point-to-point checks, functional and integration tests, defect resolution and handover.
  • Maintain test records, technical clarifications, as-built information and operational documentation.
  • Work with BIM and data colleagues to map spaces, systems, assets and points, including equipment relationships and changes.
  • Support operational diagnostics and approved digital-twin or AI use-case trials; turn field findings into reusable integration and testing templates.
  • Assist with genuine project records and technical-personnel qualification checks for relevant BCA CRS applications.

Essential requirements

  • A relevant Diploma, Degree or verifiable equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline. Any proposed BCA technical-personnel appointment is subject to qualification and eligibility verification.
  • At least three years of relevant M&E, BMS, automation or systems-integration experience, with sound knowledge of at least one major building-services system.
  • Hands-on responsibility for at least one substantive automation work package, including integration or configuration, testing, troubleshooting and handover.
  • Working experience with at least one BMS platform and either BACnet or Modbus.
  • Ability to interpret control sequences and points lists and produce clear technical and testing documentation.
  • English proficiency sufficient for Singapore project meetings, specifications and documentation.
  • Ability to work full-time in Singapore and attend project sites, subject to applicable employment and work-pass requirements.
  • A disciplined approach to site safety, confidentiality, access control and approved changes.

Preferred experience

Singapore or critical-facility projects; multi-vendor BMS;ACMV or energy systems; MQTT, OPC UA or APIs; BIM and digital asset handover;CMMS/CAFM; relevant vendor or M&E Coordination qualifications.

Mandarin communication may be helpful for technicalcoordination with China-based engineering colleagues, but is not a nationalityrequirement.
