EC Healthcare Hiring! Full Time Assistant Design Manager in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Digioo is a digital marketing agency under our group and we are now looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Design Manager with a strong artistic sense, hands-on design capabilities, and the ability to lead and motivate a creative team.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, with strong digital drawing skills and experience leveraging AI tools to produce high-quality graphics and videos efficiently. You should also be confident in pitching creative ideas to clients, providing clear direction to team members, and coordinating professionally with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality, end-to-end creative solutions across digital platforms, including social media content, videos, and occasional offline campaigns, within project timelines.
• Lead creative brainstorming, translate client briefs and brand guidelines into engaging visual concepts and creative solutions. Prepare pitch creative ideas, visual directions, and campaign concepts to clients clearly and persuasively.
• Lead, motivate, and direct the creative team by establishing clear project objectives, delegating tasks effectively, and reviewing output to deliver high-quality work on schedule while fostering professional growth.
• Liaise and collaborate with external vendors to ensure deliverables consistently meet client expectations. Proven experience in managing high-quality video production is required.
• Communicate professionally and tactfully with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to manage expectations, respond to feedback, and keep projects moving forward.
• Foster a culture of continuous self-learning, knowledge sharing, and peer-to-peer development within the creative team, encouraging team members to learn from one another and stay current with new tools and creative trends.
• Explore and introduce appropriate AI tools, creative techniques, and workflow improvements to enhance the team’s productivity and creative output.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant design experience, preferably gained in a digital marketing agency or design firm, with experience in supervising, mentoring, or leading creative team members.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate team members, provide constructive feedback, manage priorities, and maintain quality under tight project timelines.
• A strong creative portfolio demonstrating artistic sensibility, digital drawing capabilities, visual storytelling, motion graphics, animation, and multimedia design skills.
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Firefly. Proficient in 2D animations and video editing skills.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to pitch creative ideas and explain design decisions to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to leverage modern AI tools to streamline creative workflows, such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Midjourney, HeyGen, Doubao, Seedance and Kling.
• Strong artistic sensibility. Familiarity with illustration would be an advantage.
• A positive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects, tight deadlines, and evolving client requirements effectively.
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms, content formats, and emerging digital design trends.
