Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bukit Mertajam, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility for planning and reporting tasks. The role oversees day-to-day site operations, including supervising site crews, coordinating work schedules, and monitoring progress to meet project timelines and quality standards. The Site Supervisor is responsible for ensuring adherence to safety procedures, inspecting work for compliance with drawings and specifications, and reporting site issues to project management. Additional duties include liaising with clients and subcontractors, managing basic site documentation such as daily reports and material records, and supporting problem-solving for operational challenges. The role requires regular presence at project sites within the region, along with clear communication and teamwork to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong site supervision and coordination abilities, including experience managing construction or drainage projects and overseeing on-site teams.
• Candidates should possess basic project management and planning skills, such as scheduling tasks, monitoring timelines, and organizing resources and materials.
• Candidates should possess sound knowledge of construction methods, drainage works, and reading technical drawings or site plans.
• Candidates should possess good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with crew members, subcontractors, clients, and management.
• Candidates should possess a commitment to workplace safety, including understanding safety procedures and enforcing safety standards on site.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address site issues promptly and maintain project continuity.
• Candidates should possess basic computer literacy for reporting, documentation, and communication, including familiarity with common office software.
• Relevant experience in construction or civil engineering and a related qualification or certification are beneficial; a valid driving license and willingness to travel to sites are also an advantage.
