Metal Cutting Operator – Raw Materials

We are seeking a Metal Cutting Operator to support our metal cutting and raw material inspection operations.

Position Details
Location: East Region, Singapore
Working Days: 5 days per week, Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Basic Salary: $2,500/month

Key Responsibilities

• Cut steel, aluminium and other metal materials according to customer orders and required dimensions.
• Operate band saws, cold saws and other cutting equipment.
• Read cutting lists and basic engineering drawings.
• Measure materials accurately using appropriate measuring tools.
• Safely load and unload materials.
• Assist with packing and general warehouse duties.
• Conduct raw material, final and dispatch inspections.
• Ensure proper identification and traceability of materials.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges and measuring tapes.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve quality-related issues.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage.
• 1–3 years of experience in metal cutting, production or quality inspection is preferred.
• Candidates without direct metal cutting experience may also be considered.
• Experience operating industrial saws is an advantage.
• Able to read measuring tapes accurately and interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Familiar with precision measuring instruments.
• Physically fit and safety-conscious.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Forklift license is an advantage.
