Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to support the protection of the organisation's systems, networks, applications, and data in Singapore. The successful candidate will monitor security environments, investigate potential threats, support incident response, and assist with maintaining effective cybersecurity controls.

This role is suitable for cybersecurity professionals who want to develop hands-on experience in security monitoring, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor security alerts, logs, and events across systems, networks, and security platforms.
  • Investigate suspicious activities, potential threats, and security incidents.
  • Assist with incident detection, investigation, containment, and response.
  • Analyse security logs and identify unusual or potentially malicious activity.
  • Support vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
  • Monitor endpoint, network, email, and cloud security environments.
  • Assist with security investigations and document findings.
  • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, alerts, and remediation activities.
  • Support security risk assessments and cybersecurity improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with security audits, compliance reviews, and internal control assessments.
  • Work with IT and infrastructure teams to address security vulnerabilities and technical issues.
  • Help maintain and improve security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Support user awareness and security education initiatives when required.
  • Prepare cybersecurity reports, dashboards, and incident summaries for management.
  • Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, SOC operations, system administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant cybersecurity internships, projects, or certifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of network security, operating systems, and common cyber threats.
  • Familiarity with security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to investigate technical issues.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical teams.
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with EDR/XDR security solutions.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools and remediation processes.
  • Basic scripting knowledge using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CEH, CySA+, or equivalent are an advantage.
  • Experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) is a plus.
