About the Role
They are looking for an experienced HR Senior Manager to oversee HR operations across the region, strengthen HR policies and compliance, and support the company’s ongoing growth and transformation. The role will also play an important part in driving HR improvements and exploring the use of AI in HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR team, ensuring smooth daily HR operations and timely resolution of HR matters.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding, probation, employee mobility and offboarding across regional offices.
- Review and standardise HR policies, SOPs and processes, ensuring compliance with Malaysia employment law and regional requirements.
- Oversee payroll, claims, compensation & benefits, salary reviews and related approval controls.
- Manage performance management, employee relations, grievances, investigations and disciplinary matters.
- Oversee HR and administration for the KL and JB offices, including employee welfare and office-related matters.
- Monitor HR data, headcount, manpower costs and workforce trends to support Management’s decisions.
- Drive HR process improvement, digitalisation, workflow automation and the adoption of AI/HR technology.
- Support Management on workforce planning, restructuring, organisation design, M&A integration and other strategic HR projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Preferably 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years managing an HR team.
- Strong hands-on experience across HR operations, recruitment, payroll, C&B, performance management, employee relations and HR governance.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia employment law and statutory requirements; regional/APAC HR experience is preferred.
- Experience in workforce planning, restructuring and change management; M&A exposure is an advantage.
- Proficient in HRIS, HR analytics, MS Office and digital/AI-enabled HR tools.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, independent and comfortable working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Mandarin-speaking is preferred.
