Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Systems Analyst to join our team and support one of our key clients in delivering scalable, effective and technology-driven business solutions.

The role will act as a bridge between business requirements and technology solutions, with responsibility for leading requirements gathering, solution analysis and end-to-end system design. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and external partners to ensure solutions are technically feasible, scalable, well integrated and aligned with business objectives.

This position requires strong systems analysis, solution design, stakeholder management and technical consulting capabilities, together with a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & Analysis

• Lead and contribute to the end-to-end solution design process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Deliver fit-for-purpose solution designs that are scalable, technically feasible and effective.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business requirements gathering, analysis, prioritisation and clarification.
• Translate business requirements into clear solution specifications and technical design inputs.
• Analyse solution feasibility, application architecture, integration requirements and potential impacts across systems and platforms.
• Ensure proposed solutions are well integrated across relevant applications, platforms and business processes.
• Provide expert technical advice on solution options, design recommendations and implementation considerations.

Business & Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise closely with business users and stakeholders to understand, gather and prioritise requirements.
• Act as the key point of contact for business requirements throughout the solution design process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective system designs.
• Communicate technical concepts, solution options and design impacts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical consultancy and guidance on application design, system integration and solution feasibility.

Business & Product Solutions

• Understand business models, processes and key business drivers.
• Translate business requirements into platform configurations or technical specifications for new implementations.
• Support the development of new products, services and technology-driven business offerings.
• Identify opportunities where technology solutions can improve business effectiveness and customer offerings.
• Work with partners and internal stakeholders to define technical strategies that support business growth and service improvement.

Partner Engagement & RFP/RFT

• Provide technical leadership and expertise during partner engagements.
• Support new business initiatives and solution development activities.
• Contribute technical input to RFP and RFT responses.
• Analyse technical requirements and provide appropriate solution recommendations for proposals and business opportunities.
• Work with external technology partners to assess solutions, integration requirements and implementation approaches.

Industry & Technical Experience

Candidates should have experience in areas such as:

• Telecommunications
• Mobile networks
• Broadband networks
• CRM platforms
• Billing systems
• Provisioning systems
• Inventory management systems
• Service delivery and fulfilment
• Enterprise system integration
• Digital solutions and platforms

Experience with CRM platforms such as Compax will be an advantage.

Digital & Customer-Centric Solutions

• Experience in digital-related solution assessment and design.
• Ability to conduct user journey analysis as part of solution assessment.
• Understanding of design thinking principles and human-centric approaches.
• Ability to consider customer experience, business outcomes and usability when assessing technology solutions.
• Ability to translate customer and business needs into practical technology solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Systems Analysis, Solution Design or a related technology role.
• Strong experience in end-to-end solution design and systems analysis.
• Strong background in the telecommunications industry.
• Good understanding of mobile and broadband networks and related business systems.
• Experience with CRM, billing, provisioning, inventory, delivery and system integration environments.
• Strong experience gathering, analysing and prioritising business requirements.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Strong technical consultancy and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with technology partners and cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting RFP/RFT activities and technical proposals.
• Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Willing to work in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
