The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily M&E site activities and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and M&E procurement.
• Lead and manage M&E engineers, supervisors, coordinators, subcontractors, and other project personnel.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress, technical issues, risks, and outstanding matters.
• Prepare regular progress reports, technical reports, and project updates for management.
• Ensure as-built drawings, testing and commissioning records and handover documents are properly completed.
• Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work quality, productivity, and compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Any other adhoc tasks by HOD/Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant M&E construction/project experience, with at least 2–3 years in a Project Manager or similar managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction methods, testing and commissioning, and project coordination.
• Experience managing M&E subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
• Good understanding of Malaysian construction practices and relevant statutory/authority requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work under tight project deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autocad and relevant project management/construction software.
• Have own transportation and willing to travel.
