Position Overview
The Senior HR & Admin Executive will assist in overseeing human resources and administrative functions to ensure smooth operations within the M&E contractor firm. This role requires strong knowledge of Malaysian employment practices, HR policies, and administrative management, with the ability to support both project and corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Policy Implementation: Assist in develop, update, and enforce HR policies in compliance with Malaysian labor laws and industry standards.
- Recruitment & Staffing: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, interviews coordination, and onboarding/off-boarding process.
- Performance Management: Coordinate appraisal cycles, track KPIs, and support managers in employee development initiatives.
- Payroll & Compensation: Administer monthly payroll, allowances, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF).
- Training & Development: Work closely with HODs to identify training needs, coordinate in organize training courses, and ensure compliance with HRDC requirements (e.g. Grant approval, claim submission, etc.).
- Employee Relations: Assist in grievances handling, disciplinary proceedings, and foster positive workplace culture.
- Administrative Support: Oversee office administration, procurement of supplies, company asset management.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, ensure compliance with ISO standards and company SOPs, and attend audit meetings when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years HR/Admin experience, exposure in construction or M&E contracting industry is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, labor laws, and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software (i.e. SQL Payroll) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
