Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager (Aftersales) to support the daily operations of our automotive Aftersales Department. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist the Aftersales Manager in managing the daily operations of the Service Centre and Workshop
  • Supervise and lead Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, and other Aftersales team members
  • Monitor workshop productivity, job progress, service quality, and turnaround time
  • Ensure excellent customer service and effective handling of customer complaints
  • Support the achievement of departmental KPIs, sales targets, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements
  • Assist in staff scheduling, performance monitoring, coaching, and training
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth business operations
  • Prepare and submit operational reports when required
  • Take charge of the department in the absence of the Aftersales Manager

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma or Degree in Automotive, Business Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive Aftersales or Service Centre operations
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role will be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of automotive workshop operations and customer service
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage a team and work well under pressure
  • Results-driven, responsible, and willing to take initiative
  • Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin will be an added advantage
