We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Executive to join our growing team at VC Engineering Sdn Bhd. In this full-time, office-based role in Subang Jaya, Selangor, you will be responsible for providing advanced IT support and solutions to our employees. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our company's technological infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations.

What you'll be doing

• Providing advanced troubleshooting and technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Monitoring and maintaining the company's IT systems, including servers, workstations, and cloud-based applications.

• Implementing and managing IT security measures to protect the company's data and systems.

• Developing and documenting IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT-related challenges.

• Providing training and guidance to end-users on various IT tools and applications.

• Researching and recommending new technologies to improve the company's IT infrastructure and efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years in IT infrastructure with strong experience in networking, servers, hardware, and cybersecurity.

• Knowledge/exposure to security compliance standards such as ISO27001 will be beneficial in ensuring adherence to information security best practices.

• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in areas such as networking, server administration, and software troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with IT security best practices and experience in implementing security measures.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality IT support.

• Relevant certifications in IT or computer science (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are highly desirable.
