Job Purpose

To ensure the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of hotel guests while providing a warm, welcoming, and professional service experience. The Driver is responsible for airport transfers, guest transportation, vehicle cleanliness and maintenance, luggage assistance, and sharing relevant information about the hotel's facilities and local attractions. The role serves as an important ambassador of the hotel, contributing to guest satisfaction by creating a positive first and last impression through outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and attention to guest needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression of the hotel.
• Provide personalized concierge services by assisting guests with enquiries, transportation arrangements, restaurant reservations, local recommendations, tour bookings, and special requests.
• Arrange and provide safe, professional, and timely transportation services for guests to and from airports, business locations, tourist attractions, and other approved destinations.
• Assist guests with luggage handling, loading and unloading of baggage, and escorting guests when required.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively provide assistance, including handling umbrellas, opening vehicle doors, and assisting guests with mobility requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, services, promotions, local attractions, transportation options, and points of interest to effectively assist guests.
• Coordinate airport transfers, limousine services, taxi bookings, and other transportation requirements.
• Monitor guest arrivals, departures, VIP movements, and transportation schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, mileage, fuel consumption, guest transfers, and transportation schedules.
• Conduct daily inspections of assigned vehicles to ensure cleanliness, safety, roadworthiness, and compliance with company standards.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, properly maintained, and parked in designated areas when not in use.
• Comply with all traffic regulations, road safety requirements, and hotel transportation procedures.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Guest Relations, Security, and other departments to provide seamless guest services.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel operational matters at all times.
• Support VIP arrivals, group movements, special events, and other guest-related activities as assigned.
• Maintain a professional appearance, excellent grooming standards, and courteous demeanor in accordance with hotel policies.
• · Build positive relationships with guests through friendly, professional, and attentive service.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized assistance to enhance their experience.
• Deliver service in accordance with hotel standards, brand values, and SOPs.
• Gather guest feedback and take appropriate service recovery actions when required.
• Promote hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure guest needs are met efficiently.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Front Office Manager or Management from time to time.

Qualifications, experience and skills·

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Malaysian Driving Licence with a clean driving record.
• Defensive Driving or PSV Licence is an added advantage.​‌
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Concierge, Driver, Bell Service, Front Office, Guest Services, or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Experience in a hotel, serviced residence, or luxury hospitality environment is an advantage.​‌
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality​‌
• Safe driving skills with knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
