Role Summary
We are seeking an energetic, commercially minded Junior Sales Executive to support our business-growth initiatives. The role is ideal for an early-career professional who enjoys engaging prospective customers, researching target accounts, qualifying opportunities, and developing the skills needed to manage a sales pipeline.
Working closely with senior sales and account-management colleagues, you will help identify new business opportunities, build relationships with prospects, coordinate sales activities, and maintain accurate customer and pipeline information. Success in this role requires curiosity, resilience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
• Research target industries, companies, decision-makers, and market trends to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain prospect lists using LinkedIn, CRM platforms, databases, referrals, events, and other approved lead-generation channels.
• Conduct outbound prospecting through email, phone calls, LinkedIn, events, and other appropriate channels.
• Respond promptly to inbound enquiries and qualify prospective customers against agreed criteria.
• Arrange discovery calls, product demonstrations, meetings, and follow-up discussions for senior sales representatives or account managers.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, quotations, meeting briefs, and customer-facing collateral.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and customers to progress opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Assist in managing existing customer relationships, including account updates, renewal reminders, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities where relevant.
• Coordinate internally with marketing, product, delivery, operations, and finance teams to support customer requirements and commercial processes.
• Attend client meetings, industry events, webinars, and networking sessions as required.
• Track personal activity and performance against agreed KPIs, such as calls, emails, meetings booked, qualified opportunities, pipeline generated, and revenue contribution.
• Keep informed about the company’s products, services, value proposition, competitors, and relevant industry developments.
• Uphold professional standards in all customer interactions and comply with company policies on data protection, confidentiality, and sales governance.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, technology, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
• 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, marketing, recruitment, consulting, or a client-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable speaking with new people and initiating professional conversations.
• Good research, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work toward targets in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Preferred
• Prior exposure to B2B sales, technology sales, consulting, SaaS, financial services, or professional services.
• Knowledge of consultative selling, account research
• Additional language capabilities relevant to regional customers.
