Job Description

Responsibilities

  • EXPEDITOR 2
  • Understand and adhere to contractual requirements associated with each Purchase Order, ensuring all terms and obligations are clearly recognized and followed.
  • Lead and facilitate Kick-Off Meetings as well as ongoing expediting and status review meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively follow up on Purchase Orders and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of supplier performance, delivery progress, and any delays within an established database and/or filing system.
  • Conduct expediting visits to supplier facilities, as required, to verify progress and mitigate any risks of delivery delays.
  • Prepare and issue expediting reports to the Manager, Expediting, and the Project Manager, ensuring transparency and timely communication.
  • Provide recommendations to the Manager, Expediting, regarding potential Liquidated Damages claims for supplier late deliveries.
  • Promptly escalate issues affecting cost, schedule, or delivery performance to the Lead Expeditor, Manager, Expediting, and Project Manager, and propose viable recovery plans to prevent schedule slippage.
  • Ensure consistent and timely follow-up with all suppliers through appropriate communication methods, including telecommunications and field visits.
  • Review, analyze and validate vendor progress reports, ensuring key findings are clearly communicated to the Manager, Expediting and/or Project Manager.
  • Execute Goods Receipt entries in the SAP system, when required, in the absence of warehouse personnel responsible for this function.
  • Promote and uphold project values, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment with all internal stakeholders

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the EPCC of Oil and Gas industry.
  • Minimum 3 years in an equal role having expedited goods and services for relatively large-scale projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant recognized qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering.
