JOB DESCRIPTION

A leading SGX-listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) is currently seeking a highly independent Finance Manager to oversee the financial health and compliance of a group of entities.

As the Finance Manager, you will be highly hands-on in operational accounting, taking responsibility for preparing full sets of accounts independently as well as reviewing the work of accountants. You will take full ownership of management and internal financial reporting, ensuring the accurate and timely closing of accounts. Operating with minimal supervision, you will drive the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly cash flow projections, and analytical reviews of financial variances.

Additionally, you will prepare statutory financial statements and manage the submission of quarterly GST and annual tax returns. A critical component of this role involves ensuring strict compliance with local statutory frameworks, accounting standards, and SGX/MAS requirements while liaising effectively with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and trustees.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or audit experience
• Prior experience working in Real Estate/REIT industry or SGX-listed firm
• Highly independent, self-motivated, and capable of managing responsibilities in a dynamic environment
• Proven experience in operational accounting, including reviewing the work of accountants/executives
• Strong working knowledge of local statutory requirements and SGX/MAS compliance
• Experience using Yardi and Cognos systems will be considered a strong advantage
