Job Summary
Manage air freight operations including airline bookings, shipment coordination, documentation, invoicing, and customer service to ensure efficient export processes and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Coordinate airline bookings and manage related procedures to ensure timely shipments
Oversee daily shipment orders and track progress to maintain export schedules
Prepare and manage full sets of export documents to comply with regulations
Communicate with destination offices and agents to provide shipment pre-alerts
Issue accurate invoices to customers and agents for services rendered
Print House Air Waybills (HAWB), manifests, and Master Air Waybills (MAWB) for airline submissions
Prepare billing for local deliveries and verify vendor invoices for accuracy
Respond to customer inquiries and quotations, manage agent correspondences, and provide effective solutions to issues
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Air Freight, preferably within Freight Forwarding Industry
Proficiency in Cargowise 1 system for freight management
Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Excel
Demonstrated proactive, pragmatic, and independent work approach
Strong attention to detail in handling documentation and billing
