Job Overview

Join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. We are seeking a reliable individual to support culinary operations, assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen sanitation, and ensure seamless food service workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare raw ingredients (washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning food items).

Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and food prep areas.

Assist chefs and cooks with basic cooking tasks and plating during service hours.

Receive, unpack, and properly store food stock and kitchen inventory in accordance with safety standards.

Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain general cleanliness in waste disposal areas.

Monitor food stock levels and notify kitchen leadership of low inventory.

Perform other kitchen support and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

GCE 'N' / 'O' Level, NITEC, or equivalent qualification; basic food hygiene certification preferred.

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in kitchen prep or food handling.

Good understanding of basic food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Strong physical stamina and ability to handle kitchen tools safely.

Able to work independently while collaborating effectively as a strong team player.

Flexibility to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays.
