Job Description

• Responsible for supervise the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems within the building.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimum performance of building services.
• Supervise maintenance contractors and service providers to ensure work is carried out according to specifications, safety requirements, and agreed timelines.
• Conduct regular inspections of building equipment and facilities, including electrical systems, HVAC systems, fire protection systems, lifts, generators, pumps, and plumbing systems.
• Liaise with authorities such as TNB, Bomba, DOSH, and other relevant agencies on technical and statutory compliance matters.
• Coordinate annual shutdown activities, testing, commissioning, and servicing of electrical installations (High Voltage and Low Voltage systems).
• Ensure all building systems comply with statutory regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Monitor utility consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, budgets, and presentations related to engineering operations.
• Assist in planning and executing building upgrading projects, renovation works, and capital expenditure projects.
• Support emergency response activities and ensure critical building systems remain operational.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building engineering, facilities management, or property management.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and building automation systems.
• Experience in managing contractors, maintenance schedules, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of local regulations and authority requirements related to building operations and maintenance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management systems.
• Able to work independently and under pressure when handling technical issues and emergencies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
