The IT Full Stack Python Engineer contract involves developing and managing full stack applications within a financial services organisation. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient solutions that meet business needs. This position is based on-site and involves rapid development and problem-solving.

Key Skills & Experience

Proficiency in Python


Experience with backend development using Java and other languages such as C++, Go, Rust (advantageous)


Knowledge of software architecture patterns, including microservices and event-driven architecture


Familiarity with containerisation using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes


Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines


Knowledge of frontend technologies including React and Next.js, and JavaScript


Familiarity with database management systems, relational and NoSQL

Nice to Have

Experience with data science, machine learning, and statistical modelling


Experience with UI frameworks like Dash

The successful candidate will develop core backend services and frontend applications, ensure code discipline, and support timely delivery of solutions. Collaboration with diverse teams and clear communication of complex technical concepts are essential.
