SAPARIBA MM/PP Functional Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM/PP Functional Consultant to provide functional expertise, deliver SAP projects and enhancements, support regional operations, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide core functional expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP); knowledge of Quality Management (QM) is an advantage.

Deliver SAP projects and system enhancements on schedule and in accordance with agreed requirements.

Govern systems and business processes by validating current-state and future-state workflows and integrations, identifying system constraints or workarounds, and estimating the effort required to implement process and user-activity changes.

Gather and analyse business requirements, design appropriate system solutions, and ensure seamless integration with other applications.

Prepare and maintain project deliverables, including business blueprints, process-flow diagrams, functional specifications, configuration documentation, business process procedures, and training materials.

Review and validate test scripts, coordinate user testing, and support successful solution deployment.

Manage SAP support tickets and ensure timely resolution and delivery in line with agreed service-level agreements.

Lead, facilitate, or support system upgrade initiatives and new projects involving regional subsidiaries.

Proactively identify and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and operational efficiency.

Platform Scope

SAP S/4HANA, including RISE with SAP in a private-cloud environment.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

At least three to five years of hands-on functional experience configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP MM/PP modules, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of SAP MM/PP functionality and supply chain management business processes.

Proficiency in MM/PP master data, tables, configuration, user exits, and BAPIs.

Sound knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, bills of material, routing, work orders, and material requirements planning.

Good understanding of interfaces with external systems using IDocs, XML, and flat files.

Demonstrated analytical ability, attention to detail, business-process awareness, and troubleshooting skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels.

Ability to work independently and lead projects when required.

Willingness to travel to support subsidiaries across the region, as needed.
