The Role

Senior Manager / Principal Manager (Digital Strategy and Plans), Transformation Office

NTUC and our affiliated trade unions are transforming our services to better serve workers. We partner other NTUC departments to analyse root causes and design cost-effective plans that use technologies to solve business problems. This position is in NTUC’s Transformation Office, which drives digital transformation in NTUC.

In this role will:

• Work in cross-functional teams to shape and realise business transformation through digital technology, including adoption of AI-enabled solutions
• Apply structured discovery and problem-solving approaches (e.g. root cause analysis, process analysis, design thinking) to engage stakeholders, understand business needs, identify trade-offs and opportunities, and break down complex problems into actionable decisions and plans.
• Co-create future-state processes, operating models and solution concepts with stakeholders, facilitating decisions that balance business goals, user needs and constraints.
• Communicate business concepts, process definitions and business rules clearly using artefacts such as process maps, user journeys and user stories to facilitate decision-making in solution design
• Build good working relationships and influence stakeholders to achieve alignment on priorities, decisions and changes
• Support department-level corporate planning and budgeting

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of experience in areas that require strong analysis, holistic problem solving, and creative solutioning
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and charting a clear path ahead
• Able to explain technical concepts simply to the business units, and articulate business needs to technologists
• Experience in analysing business processes and translating them to technology solutions would be an advantage
• Set high standards and continuously seek improvements in processes
• Have a strong sense of curiosity
