Job Description
Responsibilities
Implement and monitor workplace safety and health requirements at the construction site.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe work practices.
Ensure workers comply with company safety rules and approved safe work procedures.
Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and safety inductions.
Monitor the proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
Assist in risk assessments and implementation of control measures.
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
Maintain safety records, inspection reports and relevant documentation.
Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor and subcontractors on safety matters.
Follow up on corrective actions and ensure unsafe conditions are rectified.
Assist with inspections by clients, consultants and relevant authorities.
Promote a strong safety culture among workers at the worksite.
Requirements
Relevant
WSH/Safety qualification
is preferred/required depending on the position and project.
Good knowledge of Singapore workplace safety and health requirements.
Able to conduct site safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Able to identify workplace hazards and recommend suitable control measures.
Able to work independently and coordinate with workers and subcontractors.
Willing to work at construction sites and in a fast-paced environment.
