We are looking for professional Part-Time Optometrists and Opticians who are seeking flexible work arrangements within a retail environment.

Location: Islandwide
Minimum Commitment: At least 2 weekdays per week

Hourly Rate (contracts are welcome too)

Optician / Optometrist

• Weekdays: $23 – $29 per hour

• Weekends: $28 – $34 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct refraction tests for customers aged 8 years and above.

• Interpret and dispense optical prescriptions accurately.

• Edge lenses according to prescribed specifications.

• Dispense and adjust spectacle frames and perform contact lens fitting.

• Follow up on customers’ appointments and provide after-sales support.

• Provide professional consultation on spectacles, lenses, contact lenses, and Ortho-K solutions.

• Support daily retail operations, including sales and inventory management.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess an approved Opticianry or Optometry qualification (Pre-registered / Provisional candidates are welcome to apply).

• Prior retail experience is an advantage; however, candidates with no experience are also welcome to apply.

• Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive working attitude.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Willing to work retail hours, including long standing hours, weekends, and public holidays.

• Currently not employed in any optical related employment.

• Training will be provided for suitable candidates
