Requirements
- Candidate must possess in depth knowledge of housekeeping services, including a solid understanding of effective cleaning methods, equipment and machinery handling, chemical use and manual handling techniques.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
- At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Manager specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the daily supervision and effective operation of the houskeeping department at the Resort to ensure excellent customer service standards
- Supervise cleaning of all areas of responsibility including 80 guest rooms and Resort facilities
- Perform routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas
- Hire and conduct training of housekeeping staff to ensure performance meets the standards required
- Assign duties and coordinate staff scheduling
- Efficiently manage stock control and maintenance of all cleaning equipment
- Responsible to check staff grooming and hygiene
- Report all maintenance defects and follow up
