Role Description The Management Trainee – Marine role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tuas. The trainee will support day-to-day marine operations, including coordination of safety equipment for vessels and industrial customers, monitoring inventory, and assisting with logistics and documentation. Responsibilities include learning and applying maritime safety standards, supporting senior colleagues in project planning, and participating in training programs related to marine services and products. The role also involves interacting with customers and suppliers, preparing basic reports, and contributing to process improvements under guidance from the management team.

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge or strong interest in Marine Operations and Maritime activities, with willingness to learn industry standards.
  • Exposure to or understanding of Navy or defense-related marine environments is an advantage.
  • Practical familiarity with Boat operations or marine equipment handling is beneficial.
  • Enthusiasm for Training, with the ability to absorb new concepts quickly and apply them in daily work.
  • Diploma or degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site operational environment.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Safety-conscious mindset and readiness to comply with relevant regulations and company procedures.
