Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group academic support in English language and literacy to improve student learning outcomes
- Assist teachers and supervisors in delivering classroom learning activities to enhance student engagement
- Support students in working independently through assigned academic materials to foster self-directed learning
- Prepare teaching materials and classroom resources to facilitate effective lessons
- Supervise and guide students during class sessions and school activities to maintain a safe and orderly environment
- Maintain an orderly and focused learning center environment to support academic routines
- Encourage positive study habits and responsible conduct among students to promote discipline and character development
Required competencies and certifications
- Legal eligibility to work in Singapore
- Excellent command of spoken and written English to communicate effectively with students and staff
- Completion of A-Levels, Diploma, or equivalent qualification as a foundation for supporting academic activities
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly with students and teachers
- Patience to support diverse student learning needs
- Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with educators and staff
- Genuine interest in working with children and supporting their learning
- Willingness to contribute positively within a values-based educational environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
