Job Description

Responsibilities

WE ARE HIRING | TECHNICAL INTERIOR DESIGNER

Tunisha Kapadia Designs is looking for an experienced Technical Interior Designer to join our studio in Singapore.

We are looking for someone with 10–15 years of professional experience, with a strong background in luxury residential and commercial interiors, and the ability to take projects from concept design through to site execution.

This is an opportunity to join a new studio and play an important role in building its technical foundation from the ground up. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, can establish systems and standards, and enjoys figuring things out rather than relying on an existing framework.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Degree in Architecture or Interior Design

• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience

• Strong experience in luxury residential and commercial projects

• Excellent technical knowledge, detailing and construction documentation skills

• Experience developing projects from concept through design development, tender and site execution

• Strong knowledge of FF&E sourcing and coordination

• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, suppliers and vendors

• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, joinery and construction

• Ability to establish CAD standards, drawing standards, templates and technical workflows for the studio

• Ability to develop and implement efficient systems and processes from the ground up

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the confidence to figure things out and take ownership

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Fluent written and spoken English

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite

The role will require someone who is detail-oriented, technically strong and highly independent, with the ability to balance design intent with technical rigour and carry projects through to execution.

You will have the opportunity to be part of building the studio from the ground up, helping shape the way we work, document and deliver projects as we grow.

Location: Singapore

Employment: Minimum 1 year, extendable

Probation: 4 months

*Singaporeans OR PR's preferred

If you are an experienced interior designer who enjoys working on considered, high-quality projects and would like to play a meaningful role in building a young design studio, we would love to hear from you.
