Job Title: Human Resource Executive (IRER)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Executive (IRER) to join our team at Nissei Technology Malaysia in Prai, Penang.
The primary focus of this role will be Industrial Relations and Employee Relations (IRER), including handling employee disciplinary matters, grievances, investigations, and employee relations issues. The successful candidate will also support other HR functions, including recruitment, training, compliance, dormitory management, and general HR operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesIndustrial Relations & Employee Relations (Primary Responsibility)
- Manage and handle employee relations and industrial relations matters effectively and professionally.
- Handle employee grievances, complaints, disciplinary issues, misconduct cases, and workplace disputes.
- Conduct investigations and prepare relevant documentation, reports, warning letters, show-cause letters, and other disciplinary-related correspondence.
- Ensure proper handling of disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policies and applicable Malaysian labour laws.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
- Promote positive employee engagement and maintain a harmonious working environment.
- Assist in handling matters related to the Industrial Relations Department, Labour Department, or other relevant authorities when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all employee and industrial relations cases.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Develop strategies to attract and retain suitable talent.
Training & Development
- Assess training needs and coordinate training programmes to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes.
Compliance & HR Operations
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Dormitory Management
- Oversee employee accommodation to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment.
- Coordinate with relevant vendors and address dormitory-related concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Industrial Relations and Employee Relations (IRER) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, employment regulations, and industrial relations practices.
- Experience in handling disciplinary cases, employee grievances, misconduct investigations, and employee relations matters.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
