Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily manufacturing operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules, manpower, materials and workflow to meet operational targets.
- Supervise production staff and ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and according to company procedures.
- Monitor production quality, productivity and delivery timelines, and implement improvements where necessary.
- Coordinate with suppliers, project teams and other departments on production and material requirements.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery, tools and production equipment.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform other operational and management duties as assigned.
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or structural metal products.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, workflow management and manufacturing processes.
- Good leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to manage manpower and production schedules effectively.
- Able to work independently and under pressure to meet operational deadlines.
