Role Purpose
EasyParcel is a parcel delivery aggregator platform connecting merchants to a network of courier partners across Malaysia and Singapore. The Courier Partnership Manager owns and grows EasyParcel's relationships with courier partners — managing commercial arrangements, identifying joint business opportunities, and resolving operational issues that affect shipment flow and merchant experience. This role is central to the health of EasyParcel's core supply side: the courier network.
Up to RM8,000 Basic Salary + Performance Incentives
Bayan Baru, Penang
Key Responsibilities
1. Own Courier Partner Commercial Strategy
- Take full ownership of EasyParcel's commercial relationships with courier partners — shaping rates, service levels, and contract terms with real decision-making influence.
- Design win-win agreements that strengthen EasyParcel's position while building durable, long-term partner relationships.
- Directly influence company margins and service quality through the deals you structure — high-visibility work with measurable business impact.
- Review and renew partnership agreements periodically, ensuring terms evolve in line with business growth on both sides.
2. Business Development with Partners
- Proactively identify new business opportunities with existing and prospective courier partners (new services, new coverage areas, new fulfilment options).
- Build a genuine "grow together" partnership model — treating courier partners as long-term collaborators, not just vendors.
- Source and onboard new courier partners where gaps exist in EasyParcel's network coverage or service tiers.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product to package courier partnerships into merchant-facing value.
3. Operational Issue Resolution
- Act as the primary escalation point between EasyParcel and courier partners for operational issues (delays, lost parcels, API/integration issues, service disruptions).
- Work with internal Customer Service and Product/Tech teams to diagnose root causes and drive fixes with partners.
- Track partner service performance (SLA adherence, complaint rates, resolution time) and hold partners accountable to agreed standards.
- Anticipate and pre-empt operational risks arising from partner-side changes (system migrations, capacity constraints, policy changes).
4. Relationship & Network Management
- Maintain and expand a strong personal network within the courier and logistics industry across Malaysia and Singapore.
- Represent EasyParcel at partner meetings, industry events, and site visits — including travel to partner offices, hubs, and depots as required.
- Build trust-based relationships at multiple levels within partner organizations (operations, commercial, and leadership).
Requirements
- Experience : 3-5+ years in courier, logistics, last-mile delivery, or a related B2B partnership/vendor management role. Prior experience negotiating commercial contracts is essential.
- Commercial Acumen : Strong track record structuring commercial agreements — able to shape terms that work for both sides while protecting company interests.
- Logical & Analytical Thinking Sharp, structured problem-solver. Able to break down operational issues to root cause and build data-backed cases in negotiations.
- Responsibility & Accountability : Owns outcomes end-to-end. Follows through on commitments to partners and internal stakeholders without needing close supervision.
- Networking : Confident relationship-builder with strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills; comfortable engaging senior partner leadership.
- Travel : Willing and able to travel frequently within Malaysia and to Singapore for partner meetings, site visits, and events. Travel is a core, non-negotiable part of this role.
- Communication : Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage for coverage of Mandarin-speaking partners and merchants.
- Industry Knowledge : Understanding of parcel delivery / e-commerce logistics operations; familiarity with courier SLAs, rate structures, and fulfilment models preferred.
