Hiring: Workday Consultant – People Systems | Talent Management & Core HCM
We are hiring a Workday Consultant – People Systems to support and enhance Workday solutions across Talent Management and Core HCM.
Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
Employment Type: 12-Month Contract
Experience: 7–10 Years
Workday Experience: 5+ Years
About the Role
We are looking for a Workday Consultant with strong functional expertise and hands-on configuration experience across Core HCM and Talent Management.
The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, partner with stakeholders to resolve system and process issues, and contribute to scalable and effective People Systems solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Talent Management and Core HCM processes and solutions.
- Support change requests, enhancements, and issue resolution across Workday modules.
- Perform system administration activities, including configuration, security management, complex reporting, and bulk data processing.
- Support system lifecycle activities, including reviewing, testing, and implementing new Workday features, fixes, and releases.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and recommend effective solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve organizational efficiency.
- Develop user procedures, guidelines, documentation, and training materials to support adoption of new functionality.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of Workday experience with strong hands-on knowledge of Core HCM and Talent Management
- Experience supporting 1–2 Core HCM or Talent Management implementations
- Strong understanding of Workday configuration, business processes, testing, and UAT
- Hands-on experience with Workday Reporting, Analytics, EIB, and Security Administration
- Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
